Sunday is WWE's annual Survivor Series pay-per-view event. This year doesn't have that special feeling like last years show which was headlined with The Rock and John Cena vs. The Miz and R-Truth. This years event headlined by a triple threat match for the WWE championship. With that being said, onto the predictions and possible spoilers for the event..
WWE Champion CM Punk vs. John Cena vs. Ryback (Triple Threat Match)
Many were anticipating this would be one of the match changes at last night's Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, however that was not the case. Many feel this match is just a stepping stone until The Rock comes back to face the WWE Champion at the Royal Rumble which is only two more pay-per-views away. Ryback is fresh, but too fresh to be heading into WrestleMania season as the champion. He hasn't really done much besides yell feed me more, and beat up jobbers. He has had very few high profile matches. His odds walking out champion are very slim with that being said. Expect to see CM Punk retain.
World Heavyweight Champion Big Show vs. Sheamus
If you have been living under a rock, Big Show captured the World Heavyweight championship at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view a few weeks back and now Sheamus is in hot pursuit of trying to win it back. Is it just me, or is Sheamus more entertaining that way? Chasing the title. Prediction, Sheamus continues to chase the title, and Show remains champion after Sunday.
Team Foley vs. Team Ziggler (Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match)
Reports have indicated that Randy Orton is turning heel, and The Miz is turning face this Sunday at Survivor Series. How it plays out should be interesting. One way WWE could go about it would be for Orton to turn on his team, and somehow have The Miz win the match. Anyways, predict the faces win in that fashion.
United States Champion Antonio Cesaro vs. R-Truth
WWE has big plans for Antonio Cesaro. The match against R-Truth should help elevate his career with a victory over a favorable Superstar. A continuing feud between the two is a possibility. If thats the case, Cesaro will win in heel fashion.
Divas Champion Eve vs. Kaitlyn
The divas have a role in the WWE again, well sort of. Eve has been getting over as a heel champion, and Kaitlyn has been the diva chasing the dream. It sells. Like the Antonio Cesaro match, I can see this one carrying on for another pay-per-view or two. Prediction, Kaitlyn wins by "luck" and Eve chases after her rematch. Other possible scenarios include Layla turning on her best friend and costing her the match.
3MB vs. Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel
Haven't really been following Tyson Kidd or Justin Gabriel. As of a month ago the plans called for Tyson Kidd to be getting a "big" push. Haven't seen any of that go down. 3MB has been getting over as the stupid stable people hate and are trying to transition from jobber talent to mid-card stats. Expect a meaningless win for 3MB.
