- As noted before, last night's WWE RAW drew 5.02 million viewers on the USA Network. The final rating for the show is a 3.7 rating.

This is up 21% in viewers and 16% in the ratings from last week. This is the first time RAW has topped 5 million viewers since RAW 1,000.

Needless to say WWE officials were pleased with the post-Royal Rumble numbers as they have already issued a press release touting the success of last night's ratings.

were the ratings this high when punk was champ hell no

i didn't think with as bad as the raw roulette matches were the ratings would be this high

That's because random casual fans watch when the rock is around. It creates a buzz but the rest of us hardcore fans watch incesidly for quality Raw shows every week regardless of who is on. But I'm always happy when WWE does good ratings. Woo woo woo you know it

Short term, Rock being back, as well as Brock is great news for the c...

Just because it isn't good doesn't make it bad, there is a gray area in there. It is what it is. He's back so random people watch and then when he leaves its just us again. If the ratings were good without the rock they would have the need to kiss his ass in the first place. You guys make fair point...

I know the Rock is going to get pressured from Vince to arrange his schedule so he can make a appearance on Raw next week after these ratings for this week.
Rick Wall
Company wise, it's good for the short term direction of the company but long term, the future of WWE doesn't look as bright.

The Rock returning is great, because fact is, he doesn't need the WWE. He's making it on his own as a Hollywood star, appearing in countless movies and being offered a lot of m...
