- Readers have noted that CM Punk is listed as the WWE Champion in advertisements for WWE events after this Sunday's Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Don't look too much into it, as advertisements for The Big Show as World Heavyweight Champion are still being aired.
- Ric Flair did not return to the ring today for All Japan Pro Wrestling due to some sort of health issue. Flair was replaced by his son, Reid, who was moved up from a preliminary tag match to work with Keiji Mutoh (Great Muta) in a losing effort to Tatsumu Fujinami and Seiya Sanada when Sanada pinned Flair.
- This week's episode of WWE Smackdown scored 77,259 in social media activity, up ten percent from last week's episode.
Smackdown finished #3 on cable TV Friday night, its best finish of 2013 according to Trendrr.TV.

It be good to see Punk retain, but it's highly unlikely.
