WWE's game franchise will be sold to Take Two according to a report by IGN.

Terms of the sale are unknown at this time, as details have not been finalized. These negotiations appear to have taken place outside THQ's formal auction process.

We will provide more details as we receive them.

Like someone said the first game might not be great but in time it could be. Plus new ideas are good for me. And I always thought the graphics were the best part about the wwe games.

SweetStunnerPain(SSP) LMAO!! B4 I saw your comment I was asking the same thing! "Take two??? --the Hell??"

Seriously...these "Take two" guys better deliver otherwise i'll "take two" plane tickets over to their headquarters, "take two" chairs and share "One-man-con-chairtos" to the entire video game developing team. Too much?

omg, this is awesome!

T2 is really great, I love their games a lot. Cant imagine they'd sell a bad or half assed product.
They almost always deliver or die drying, so I would be really disappointed if next years game wouldnt be something whole new and way better than the games before.

I am just glad EA sports didn't buy them out. I don't want another WcW Backstage Assault. 2k sports is decent. They need to keep Yukes as the developer. I hope they put in as much effort in this next WWE game than they put in the NBA 2k games. I am disappointed they are very lackluster on their base...

2K Sports owns the rights to WWE Games. They're the best Sports Game selling franchise!

EA can make baseball games now. Hopefully we will see an MVP '14 or '15

As far as sport games EA tops the market over 2K. So I would rather see EA take over WWE games and get into a deal with TNA and maybe even RoH and produce games for them.
