WWE Network to Launch First Quarter of 2014?

WWE Network to Launch First Quarter of 2014?

Posted on October 19, 2013 by
The current plan is for the WWE Network to debut in the first quarter of next year according to PWInsider.com.

Their report mentions that right now they are projecting a launch on February 24th, which would be the day after the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event. Their report also suggests that a second source informed them that they don't have an official date, however people in the company are working under the assumption that the WWE Network will be launched within the first quarter of next year.

Steve Carrier's POV: First quarter of 2014 is just around the corner, and definitely sounds too early for the launch of this highly anticipated "Network". I will be very surprised if it launches before the end of 2014.
ortiz dear

I'll believe it when I see it.

I agree with Steve above, it sounds far too early for this to be happening and like Ortiz said above, I can see it being delayed again also..

WWE Network, I just can't see it happening.

Don't think it's too early for it to happen since it was supposed to launch last year. With that being said I don't think we will ever see the launch of a WWE network and even if it somehow happens it will be successful.

I think the WWE should launch a service like Netflix with old Raw, Smackdown,...

Don't know about that Relent, Total Divas has become a success in some ways, whose to say Legends House wouldn't? Especially since reality shows have proven to be successful in today's market, it might do some good numbers.

But I do agree with you though, I'd much rather them do a Netflix type deal r...

A netflix type service would actually be perfect and it makes a lot more sense.

WWE has more chance of signing up Sting to a wrestling contract over them ever having their own Network.. And by looks of it, Sting is never going to wrestle for the WWE, thus this Network is never happening.

Sting will sign a WWE Legends contract, I can see that happening because really WWE owns pretty much all of Sting's career (in NWA, WCW, Mid-South).. but I can never see him ever wrestling inside a WWE ring.
