Chris Jericho is a veteran in the pro wrestling world who competed all over the world over the past three decades. He worked for several years in WWE and truly became one of the biggest stars there. He also revealed the initial plans for his feud with CM Punk.

CM Punk and Chris Jericho had one of the more memorable matches on a stacked WrestleMania 28 card. Throughout their feud, Jericho verbally and physically humiliated CM Punk. Y2J insulted his alcoholic father. He also poured alcohol down the straight-edge star‘s mouth.

While speaking on Talk is Jericho, Chris Jericho revealed that he initially planned on tattooing his initials on CM Punk as a way to begin their feud.

“The original plan for the opening angle to get that [the ‘Best in the World’ feud] rolling was that I was gonna tattoo CM Punk. What do you mean? I was gonna do an angle where I knocked about and handcuffed him to the ring ropes, take out a tattoo needle, and tattoo my initials on to his body. I would get a tattoo artist to show me how to do it, and do like a CJ, okay?”

The idea was ultimately shot down and WWE went in a whole different direction for their feud and subsequent WrestleMania 28 match. Regardless, it ended up becoming a memorable match.
