AJ Styles has competed against the best pro wrestlers on the planet. He has a lot of work to do though as the WWE Performance Center keeps churning out top talent all the time.
As part of Vince McMahon’s big New Era announcement on RAW, the WWE Universe will be seeing a handful of new Superstars. AJ Styles revealed to Wrestle Zone that he has his eye on EC3 the most because, despite the fact that they both came from Impact Wrestling, the two have never had a chance to face each other.

“You know I’ve never been in the ring with EC3 before so that’ll be fun to see, but there are several that are coming up through NXT I’m sure shortly and there’s a number of them that I could have amazing matches with.”

When asked about who he wants to face at WrestleMania, Styles revealed that it’s not up to him. Apparently, it’s up to the fans because we are The Authority now. No matter who Styles is placed against at Mania, he still plans on stealing the show.

“It isn’t up to me who I want to steal the show with, it’s up to the fans. Whatever they want, that’s what I wanna give them then I will steal the show with the opponent that they would like me to in the ring with.”

AJ Styles’ WWE contract is up in April, therefore it’s unknown if they will be able to secure him to another deal. AJ understandably wants fewer dates on the road, and who could blame him? He has worked hard enough at this stage in his career that he deserves that luxury. Either way, it appears that we will have at least one more WrestleMania with AJ Styles and it sounds like there are plenty of options for his opponent right now.
