WWE Royal Rumble is coming up on January 27th in Phoenix Arizona and the WWE Universe should be excited. You never know what the “New Era” of WWE could bring in that big show. One thing we might not be seeing is too many 205 Live wrestlers and that’s something that Maria Kanellis doesn’t appreciate at all.
WWE sent out a notice to fans saying that R-Truth is the first entry in the 2019 Royal Rumble match. They also included the phrase: “30 male Superstars from #Raw and #SDLive will fight for the opportunity for a World Championship at #WrestleMania 35.”
Maria Kanellis couldn’t help but notice how 205 Live seemed to be snubbed in this announcement. It’s nothing new for the Cruiserweight brand, but she still had to say something about it.
“And 205 Live?” she asked while calling WWE out for snubbing her brand.
WWE has thirty spots to fill in the men’s Royal Rumble match, so we’re likely going to see a 205 Live Superstar or two. However, if Maria had her way we would be seeing far more than WWE will actually book for the big show in Chase Field.
