WWE has a loaded roster at this point, but there is always room for more. With the global expansion the company is going through, they are going to have even more hours of programming to fill on the WWE Network. Therefore, it seems like WWE is not finished signing talent by a longshot.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter mentioned that WWE is currently targeting Karen Q and Rachael Ellering as the two have both reportedly landed on the company’s radar.
Ellering is the daughter of Paul Ellering and performs as Rachel Evers. She has appeared on NXT before and the Mae Young Classic. Rachael is also dating Kassius Ohno which would make yet another WWE couple if they do end up signing her.
Karen Q also competed in the Mae Young Classic and has extensive experience in Rise, Ring Of Honor, and many other indie companies. She has held titles in ECWA and VPW and the Chinese-born pro wrestler has been working consistently for the past few years.
There have been a lot of big names come through the MYC that WWE hasn’t been able to sign to a deal like Tessa Blanchard and Jazzy Gabert. It appears Ellering and Q might be two women WWE wants to keep around and for good reason.
