X-Pac welcomes Fred Rosser (formerly Darren Young) to the show.
X-Pac says he can’t comprehend why anyone wouldn’t accept Rosser, who’s openly gay, especially in 2018. Rosser says he’s doing fine, but there are plenty of people around the world that aren’t. Every morning when his feet touch the ground he knows there’s someone that needs his help.
He points out that he wasn’t the first gay WWE Superstar and he won’t be the last, so he’s working hard to spread love and help everyone understand the struggle that some people go through on a daily basis. It’s his goal to help as many of those people as possible.

Rosser informs that he wrestled one of his dream matches recently, when he went one-on-one with Billy Gunn. He jokes that his goal was to out-sell Gunn in the match because Gunn was always known as an incredible seller. X-Pac agrees, adding that nobody could feed for a babyface comeback like Gunn.
Rosser notes that when he was young and had dreams of becoming a WWE Superstar there were no gay Superstars for him to follow. He had a fear of coming out because he didn’t want people to look at him differently. He had many highs and lows over the years and that didn’t get any easier when he was released by WWE. He loves the wrestling business and since he’s only 35 years old he knows he has lots left in the tank.

He notes there’s no hard feelings between him and WWE. He was able to go backstage at a recent WWE show and everyone was happy to see him. He’s been able to do some speaking assignments and has helped out in the Be A Star campaign. He adds that as long as he can still be involved in the business like that he’s happy.

Rosser informs that fans are going to be seeing a lot more of him on the indie scene in 2019. He’s been thinking about making a move to Japan if he can make the right connections, but that’s not set in stone at this point. He says he’d love to work a singles match with X-Pac, but X-Pac laughs and says it has to be a tag match for him to work nowadays.
Rosser notes that he deals with different levels of anxiety. He loves to relax or go hiking to combat those issues, and he points out that everyone deals with their mental health different. He informs that he’s been alcohol free for over a year now. He didn’t have a drinking problem; he just decided to stop drinking. It’s a lot easier to work out when you don’t have alcohol in your system, and when he’s at bars now he drinks tea instead.

Rosser is asked about the similarities between the Prime Time Players and NXT’s Street Profits. Rosser admits that he hasn’t really seen those guys perform because he hasn’t watched WWE since WrestleMania. However, he notes that everyone copies something from other performers when you’re in the wrestling business, and he’s as guilty of that as anyone.
X-Pac points out that former WWE Superstar, Jack Swagger will be making his MMA debut for Bellator soon, and Rosser is excited to watch that fight. Rosser points out that Swagger is a horse in the ring and when you run into him you get rocked. He told Rosser in the past that he couldn’t wait to see him fight because he has such a long reach, which is a huge advantage in MMA.

X-Pac comments on the news that ROH has signed Brody King and PCO. X-Pac says he’s a big fan of King, and he’s excited to see how this plays out. King is good in the ring, and is a good-sized heavyweight who can work with a wide range of talent. King is straight-edge, and you don’t need to worry about him getting messed up on drugs. He also likes the PCO signing, noting that PCO is a great veteran who can lose every match and it wouldn’t matter.
That sums up today’s episode of X-Pac 1, 2, 360. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya next week for another recap!
