WWE Survivor Series happened last night and although he’s not around very often anymore, Chris Jericho is always on top of things and usually knows what’s going on in WWE. He sent out a congrats message to WWE following Survivor Series for making women’s wrestling the “hottest thing in WWE.” Then he asked who is headlining WrestleMania while tagging Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey.
Becky Lynch obviously saw the mention from Jericho and she replied to his statement by saying: “Nope, that was me,” referring to spearheading the recent focus on the women’s roster in WWE, especially on the SmackDown Brand.
Jericho replied back in his usual fashion saying: “Yes for sure! With an assist to Nia Jax for breaking your face of course.” This did not sit well with The Man.
Lynch fired back with a shot directly at Y2J’s music career as she replied: “The suckerpunch drew blood for sure. Little known fact though: I actually got the concussion from trying to listen to your last ‘album.'”
It looks like Y2J might have created an enemy he didn’t see coming when he sent out that original tweet congratulating WWE for their focus on women’s wrestling. Because what happened instead sparked the aggressions of The Man herself.
