WWE Survivor Series is this Sunday and Ronda Rousey will face Charlotte Flair because Becky Lynch is unable to compete. But the plan for WWE was initially for Flair and Rousey to wrestle at WrestleMania presumable in the main event.
Now Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey is the only match anyone can talk about going down at WrestleMania’s main event.
Dave Meltzer appeared on Wrestling Observer Live where he was asked if Charlotte Flair is disappointed that she’s likely losing the WrestleMania main event match with her match at Survivor Series.

“There has to be, it breaks the game. But yeah there has to be. They are legit friends and she’s getting a match against Ronda this weekend and unfortunately, it didn’t get a big build-up.”
“It didn’t get the build-up it could have had. In that sense, it’s too soon. It’s not the right time for it and they’re  going to have to put it together in a very short period of time but that’s what happens when you’re in the business you have things thrown at you and you’ve got to react and that’s just how the breaks are.”

If I were a betting man, Flair is happy for her friend but you have to know that she wants that Mania main event. Who knows what will happen down the line? Vince McMahon could always change him mind and make the match a triple threat. But either way, Lynch will be watching from the sidelines on Sunday as her friend and rival takes her place at the Staples Center.
