If you live in the area of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in East Garden City, NY and were holding out on getting tickets to the Evolution pay-per-view on October 28th, then you need to get on it because at this point, you might be hard-pressed to get one.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the Nassau Coliseum is expected to sell out for the first-ever WWE women’s pay-per-view because the announcement of Ronda Rousey vs Nikki Bella led to a spike in ticket sales for the event. Now it is expected to be a sell-out show.
It looks like WWE’s plan to hold off on announcing this huge match of two bonified celebrities that they had in their back pocket might not have been the best plan if they didn’t want us to think that sales weren’t that hot. Because there was some concern they might have to bust out the tarps for Evolution to cover some empty seats.
But it looks like Rousey vs Bella is the kind of draw that they needed to make it happen. The recent program developments and that great promo written and performed by Rousey can’t hurt things either.
