One year ago today, Jimmy Jacobs was fired from WWE for taking a selfie with the Bullet Club after they invaded Raw. This means that a lot of things can happen in pro wrestling in a year, but we already knew that.
Jacobs is now performing once again and Impact Wrestling has a Zombie Princess leading Kongo Kong around. He’s great on the microphone, and he was instrumental in so many behind-the-scenes parts of the show like the Festival Of Friendship with Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho that will live on as some of the best moments from that year. But he also did so much more.
Jacobs isn’t holding any aggression toward WWE though, in fact, he recently sent out a tweet in honor of his one-year anniversary of being wished the best in his future endeavors. He said that he’s had the most fun of his career in the past year even though he’s grateful for his time there.
Only time will tell if Jacobs will find his way back to WWE, after all, WWE is currently appearing to be in the position to possibly bring in some Bullet Club people, the very same individuals who caused WWE to fire Jacobs only one year ago for taking a selfie with him.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
