The world loves Pentagon Jr and Rey Fenix and for good reason. Seriously, hate on indie wrestlers all you want but those guys are luchas of another caliber. Naturally, WWE is interested because why wouldn’t they be?
Joe Peisich said on a special news edition of the Barnburner Fired Up podcast that Pentagon Jr. and Fenix could be showing up in WWE much sooner than we might think. After all, MLW also dropped huge hint about what the Lucha Brothers might be up to in 2019.

“Fenix and Pentagon are rumored to join up with WWE anytime. I would say before the year’s end. But not in WWE, first in NXT.”

It looks like The Lucha Brothers might need to learn how to find the hard camera in the WWE Performance Center for a bit before coming to the main roster. Let’s just hope that WWE doesn’t change them too much because a lot of what makes both of those guys so special are things that WWE can sometimes alter to suite their wider audience.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
