WWE might be forced to pay attention to ROH and NJPW’s talent way more than they wanted to, but that doesn’t change the fact WWE still has a ton of money. After all, they’ve pillaged indie companies before which is how WWE became the winner in the territory days.

It was noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE is expected to make some big moves for top guys who are somewhat responsible for ROH and NJPW’s recent success in the US market. After all, their expected success at MSG might have been a big wake up call.

“Vince may grab everyone and I kind of expect attempts in that direction for sure. It’s going to make everything a lot more interesting. It may be the kiss of death and it may not. There are some obvious people The Young Bucks, Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, Cody who are in an incredible position right not and there are other guys like Hangman Page and Marty Scurll who aren’t in quite as an incredible position but they’re in a very good position.”

“It’s going to be very interesting to see what happens in December/January in a lot of ways. There are guys in WWE who’s contracts are running up too.”

Only time will tell, you but you can never know what’s going to happen when it comes to WWE taking on another company. After all, they’ve historically done a pretty good job with opposition.
