Tommaso Ciampa is celebrating a pretty big day. He debuted for WWE 13 years ago as a lawyer for Muhammid Hassan on an episode of SmackDown Live.

Hassan and The Undertaker were feuding and Ciampa posed as an attorney for the controversial character in order to get his first minutes in on WWE television. Ciampa read a prepared statement to The Undertaker for his client and then he was attacked for his troubles.

Ciampa now wonders if The Undertaker had an idea who he was sharing the ring with all those years ago. Ciampa’s status has only grown since then and after returning to WWE and really making his name known as a member of Team DIY. Ciampa has been on a roll in one way or another since then.

Everything starts with a single step and for Ciampa, it looks like he had to square off with Taker to get his WWE journey going. Do you remember this angle back in the day?

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
