Rey Mysterio lost his first match in New Japan but it looks like he might not get many more chances there. Dave Meltzer discussed Rey Mysterio’s future in New Japan on Wrestling Observer Radio saying it all depends on WWE at this point.

“I don’t know how much more Rey you’re going to get. I mean he is talking to WWE. Everything is up in the air when it comes to [The Cow Palace Show] a lot depends on WWE and how much they offer and what type of thing they offer and all that. It’s all up in the air. But my gut is I was going to say Rey won’t be going until September but it may be quicker than that.”

So it looks like Rey Mysterio could get swept off his feet thanks to a new WWE deal. Only time will tell if it means he’s not All In though because he’s booked for the show.
