Major Name Replacing William Regal at WWE UK Championship Tournament

Shawn Michaels is going to be at the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament which will give fans another big name they can expect on the show.

It was noted on Wrestling Observer Live that William Regal was supposed to make the trip for the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament. Now it looks like Shawn Michaels took his place on the trip.

It was noted that William Regal isn’t fired from WWE, but Michaels is still replacing him. There’s probably no more to this story than that, or at least we hope.

HBK actually produced a majority of the NXT TakeOver: New Orleans show so he might be brought over in a producing role as well. It was also speculated how HBK could be replacing William Regal as NXT General Manager as well, but who knows how this story could develop as time goes on?
