Tessa Blanchard showed up at Impact Wrestling’s Redemption pay-per-view where she did commentary during a Knockouts match and talked herself up.

When Dave Meltzer discussed this on Wrestling Observer Radio he commented on her ability and went on to share his observation about what Tessa’s Impact debut means.

“Tessa seemed a little nervous doing her promo. I’m a big fan of her’s. I just think she’s got a certain charisma. But I guess my big take out of this is she’s not in the Mae Young Classic this year.”

Blanchard lost in the first round of last year’s tournament to Kairi Sane who would go on to win the tournament. But if her new pro wrestling home is Impact, then it looks like she probably won’t be getting a second shot to prove herself in the WWE-ran tournament.
