Daniel Bryan is fresh off of a WrestleMania win where alongside Shane McMahon, he defeated Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. But now Daniel Bryan needs to transition into another program which will stand as the first real test on his own as a singles performer.

Big Cass had a couple run-ins with Daniel Bryan this week on SmackDown Live and the night ended with Big Cass standing over Bryan while he sold a big boot from the recently returning Cass.

This subject was brought up on Wrestling Observer Radio where it looks like Big Cass is being positioned in a place where he will be facing Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles.

Daniel Bryan is set to face The Miz during the upcoming UK Tour and their rivalry is being teased heavily. But it looks like Big Cass could have stepped ahead of The Miz to get at D-Bry first.

Both Styles and Bryan will be great for Big Cass because he needs to work with the best people possible to make him look good if WWE is pushing him like this. But Meltzer also showed a bit of concern that it might not be for the best for Big Cass to get such a highlight at this time.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
