It looks like Rey Mysterio’s return to WWE may be halted as he has suffered an injury Saturday night.

The injury occurred while Mysterio was teaming with Flip Gordon in a tag match against Joey Mercury & Caleb Konley in Waterbury, Connecticut for Northeast Wrestling, Mysterio apparently tore his left biceps during the match. No other details are known known at this time except that there was heavy swelling in his arm according to those that saw him after the match.

Mysterio informed Mercury of the injury when he realized he was hurt and Mercury was ready to call an audible on the finish but Mysterio still continued with original planned finish and got the win for his team.

Below is footage from the match, where you can visibly see Rey favoring his arm.
