Failed Drug Tests In NXT Not Made Public

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that drug test failures and suspensions are not made public.

“You can make of this what you will, but WWE company policy when it comes to drug test failures and suspensions are that all main roster failures and suspensions are released publicly, but failures in NXT and of other developmental talent are not.”

Meltzer didn’t elaborate exactly why the company doesn’t announce suspensions or drug test failures. This would indicate that a talent could be suspended or fail a drug test and an announcement doesn’t have to be made.
