Possible Spoiler on the Winner of the Men’s Royal Rumble Match

Dave Meltzer discussed the possible winners of this year’s Royal Rumble event on a recent installment of Wrestling Observer Radio.

Meltzer said that if the winner of the Rumble is still getting a title shot at WrestleMania, then the likely winner for the RAW brand would be Roman Reigns. If WWE decides on having a SmackDown Superstar win, it would come down to either Nakamura or Randy Orton. Both Nakamura and Orton were both rumored at one point to have matches against Styles for the WWE Title last year.

WWE may decide on having Reigns win the Elimination Chamber to earn his Universal Title shot against Brock Lesnar, so it seems more likely that Nakamura or Orton would win it.
