Block 2:
Taz congratulates Kalisto on his Cruiserweight Championship win last night. He was somewhat surprised to see the Title leave Enzo Amore’s shoulder so quickly, after the great work he has done bringing attention and viewers to the 205 Live brand. Taz says that Amore has genuine heat right now, and he wouldn’t have had any issue with a prolonged Amore Title run.
He points out that Amore and Kalisto never got into a traditional program. This whole thing felt rushed and TazĀ thinks that Kalisto will be a transitional Champion, with Neville eventually getting the Cruiserweight Title back sooner rather than later.
Taz welcomes Mike Johnson from PWInsider to the show.
Johnson informs that the plans for last night’s Cruiserweight Championship match changed throughout the day yesterday. Initially it was supposed to be Neville vs. Amore but WWE realized that they’d be booking themselves into a corner with that match. As the day progressed they realized that yesterday would have been Eddie Guerrero’s birthday so they booked Kalisto to win the match so he could dedicate it to Eddie.
