WWE Feeding Fans False Information About Hell in a Cell Attendance

The commentary team announced during Sunday’s WWE Hell in a Cell event that the show was sold out with 16,000 fans in attendance, however that doesn’t appear to be the case.

Photos have surfaced online that display many sections of the arena with scattered empty seats throughout the entire show. You can see some shots below:

It’s obvious WWE is downplaying their lack of attendance at WWE events now.

With Jinder Mahal as the champion it’s going to be worse now

    • Mike

Bow down to The Modern Day Maharaja!!!!!!

  • Hot White Chocolate

Shame, the PPV was actually quite good

    • Mike

I don’t remember half the show….so it wasn’t that good.

      • Jeff Hart

It’s a matter of opinion on how good it was. I was into half of the matches. Was better than the past few with MAYBE a match from them. All in all, I thought it was a good effort this time around.

      • Hot White Chocolate

Well try paying attention to stuff then. Jk, yeah, there were some forgettable moments and matches, but we got 2 great HIAC matches, one of which featured a great swerve and 1 great triple threat. Don’t think it was quite as bad as the previous PPVs, which isn’t saying much.

        • Possible

I wasn’t that surprised with Sami. Was pretty sure heading into Sseries at some point he would be on team Ko

    • ScottyPNR

Aside from the tag title match which was a guarantee that the Usos would win and Shane vs Owens. It was a shitty ppv.

  • Ortiz Dear

I was at the event and the funny thing is when I went to buy seats on ticketmaster, only certain seats showed up. All those seats that are empty didn’t show as available on ticketmaster’s website. So the event on ticketmaster looked like it was sold out and obviously that wasn’t case. It was still a pretty packed house for the most part.

    • Patrick

It looked packed from watching it on the network

      • Possible

Lol no it didn’t. The first 20 seconds of the aerial shot with the dude saying we’re sold out, was showing several sections empty. Was the first thing I noticed since it was a huge contradiction

    • Booty Tea

Likely because of ticket resellers marking up the prices way too high.

      • Ortiz Dear

That explains it. Some of them were extremely high.

  • Mike Farris

Where is some photos of the side where all the people are showing on camera

  • Grits n Gravy

Being at the event, the side facing the camera was pretty full, but the side with the cameras was mostly empty like the pictures show. Feel bad for people in the nose bleeds, they could’ve all moved them down

    • Ortiz Dear

Yeah I wasn’t too happy to see how many seats were available when I got there. I tried like hell to get lower but none of them were available on ticketmaster. There were a small amount that showed up in stub hub and they were way to damn high in price.

  • Booty Tea

These images are not taking into account reselling sites…

If those resellers purchase the tickets but fail to resell them the event is still technically sold out….

  • Brian Brunette

Actually I was watching the preshow too and saw the crowd of lack there of so I googled HIAC 2017 and got the arena it only showed about 47 tickets scattered all over the cheap seats only .. so 47 seats can easily be suggested as sold out . Signed the good guys !:)

  • TheVoicz

    Wow Jesus that looks bad.

  • ScottyPNR

It wasn’t close to a sellout. Lol I just googled the LC arena capacity it’s 21,000 white Byron said they sold out with just over 16k fans.
