Vito says that against contrary belief, Hulk Hogan could always wrestle. Hogan’s best matches occurred while he worked in Japan and was required to work that style which involved him executing different moves and selling for his opponents. When he worked in North America he wasn’t required to do that, and then he developed the reputation of being a poor worker.
Russo says one of the ugliest moves in WWE today is the dive between the top and middle rope. He doesn’t care who’s doing it, whether it’s Rollins, Ambrose or some undercard guy, it’s a terrible move that looks like garbage and he wishes talents would stop using it.
Russo mentions that he has had a back and fourth conversation with Charlotte Flair on Twitter for a while now, where he continues to urge her to stop using the Moonsault off the top rope. If she continues to choose to use it, he tells her to be very careful moving forward because he has seen her use it in the past where she was placing her trust in very green women to catch her on the bottom side of the move.
Russo asks Vito what he thinks will happen when fans finally have seen every move possible, because as the current rate, performers are taking the business to a place where it won’t be able to recover. He adds that if you have characters and storylines, you don’t need to worry about this issue.
