The Taz Show Recap – Smackdown Analysis, Wyatt’s Reign Continues, Mayweather vs. McGregor, More!

Block 1:

Taz opens today’s show speaking about last night’s episode of Smackdown Live. He thought Styles, Cena and Wyatt had a terrific main event triple threat match, and he notes that Cena and Styles have phenomenal chemistry together.

He also mentions that Bray Wyatt has pinned John Cena twice in the span of 3 days, and that’s not something that should be taken lightly. It’s obvious that WWE is fully behind Wyatt now, and they intend to build him up as a very dangerous WWE Champion.

Taz thought that at the end of the show when Bray Wyatt knelt down, Orton was going to turn on Wyatt. He thought that was an obvious thing to do, and sometimes the obvious thing to do is the right thing to do. He gives credit to WWE for having patience and milking this Orton/Wyatt angle for everything it’s worth, but sometimes you can drag things out too long and he thinks this is the case with the Orton/Wyatt angle.

He thinks that if Orton turned on Wyatt last night it would have been the perfect transition into their Wrestlemania match build-up. Instead, Orton claims that he won’t fight Wyatt at Wrestlemania, and now we have a Battle Royale next week to determine a new number one contender. Taz doesn’t think this is a good creative direction whatsoever, and he felt bad for Daniel Bryan who had to deliver this news on Talking Smack.
