The Ross Report Recap w/ Todd Grisham – Elimination Chamber Thoughts, Goldberg as Universal Champion, Working for Vince McMahon, More!
Ross informs that he had lunch with Kurt Angle over the weekend and Angle looks to be in tremendous health. He was very happy to see the amazing shape that Angle is in, and from talking to Angle, he believes John Cena will be inducting Angle into the WWE Hall of Fame. Angle did not confirm Ross’ suspicions, but that was Ross’ gut feeling.
Ross informs that he watched Elimination Chamber on Sunday and basically, the PPV was a one-match show. He would give the show a B grade, and he thought the sleeper match on the card was Randy Orton vs. Luke Harper. He believes that Harper can provide a lot of value to WWE if booked correctly, and he proved that he can hang in a match with Orton on this night.
The big surprise on the show was Noami capturing the Women’s Championship. He’s very happy for Naomi and he says that all her hard work has finally paid off. He can recall seeing Naomi in NXT many years ago and it’s always fun to watch a talent’s rise from obscurity to the top of the business.
He thought the Chamber match was booked very well. He felt all 6 guys had a good showing and played their role to perfection. He admits that Chamber matches are hard matches to put together and work in, and if any talents tell you otherwise they’re lying. Given the difficulty surrounding this type of match, he thought everyone pulled it off very well.
