Conversation With The Big Guy Recap – Wrestlemania Season, Best & Worst Paydays in WWE, Working w/ Mark Henry, More!
Ryback is joined on today’s show by his co-host Pat Buck.
Ryback opens today’s show speaking about his experiences working for WWE around Wrestlemania season. He says working for WWE this time of year was hell. As a performer you’re used to having privacy at your hotels, but during Wrestlemania season everyone knows there are a lot of wrestlers in town and fans wait around at the hotels for pictures and autographs.
He didn’t mind meeting the fans, but there’s no denying that it throws off your schedule and routine. Ryback adds that for him, routine is everything. WWE would bring their talents into town a week or so before Wrestlemania, which would leave them with a couple of days off before starting to attend various activities around the city. There’s rarely any down time in the days leading up to Wrestlemania night.
Ryback informs that his match was on the Pre-show at the last couple of Wrestlemanias he worked. He says that Vince McMahon doesn’t look like at Pre-show as a step down, but all the talents do. He understands that some guys needs to wrestle there but he’s sure that Triple H won’t be wrestling on it.
