The Taz Show Recap – Special Guest Bully Ray, Chances of a ‘TNA Network’, Samoa Joe in the Rumble? More!

Blocks 1 & 2:

Taz talks about the rumours that Samoa Joe may debut at this year’s Royal Rumble event. While he still feels it’s too early to make that prediction for sure, he’s unsure how WWE can put Joe in the Rumble without having him win it. Similarly, if Finn Balor makes his return at the Rumble, Taz can’t see a scenario where Balor doesn’t win. Essentially, WWE will have to get creative to ensure all participants involved are protected creatively.

A listener calls into the show and asks Taz who he would choose from NXT as 3 potential Royal Rumble entrants. Taz says that’s a very tough question, but if he had to choose he would select Tye Dillinger, Samoa Joe and Bobby Roode.

The caller feels Nakamura should be one of the three men chosen and Taz can’t argue with that choice either. If Nakamura were to leave NXT soon to become a permanent member of the main roster, Taz believes Bobby Roode would be a great choice to take over as NXT Champion.

Another listener calls into the show and asks Taz about the rumour that Rick Rude may finally be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. Taz says Rude was the complete package as a performer. He was an awesome talker and worker, he hopes those rumours are true.

Taz recalls working with Rude when he was a colour commentator at ECW for a short period of time, and he enjoyed those moments. He says all the guys in the locker room loved and respected Rude. He thinks Rude’s induction into the Hall of Fame is long overdue, and he hopes it happens this year.
